License Options

  • Why do I need to purchase a license?

Whether you see it or not, every time you watch a film, whether it’s on Netflix, in a classroom, or in a theater, it has been licensed in some way. Proper licensing denotes legally where, how many times, and to how many people a film is allowed to be shown. Licensing also ensures that the people who worked on the film get proper royalties for their work. In short, licensing supports those who have worked tirelessly to promote important causes.

    What are Public Performance Rights?

Public Performance Rights (PPR) are necessary if you wish to show a film outside of a private home or a classroom. Screenings with PPR must take place where the audience and the projector are in the same room, not online or on television.
